Support Local Students
Ways to Give
Whether you fund a scholarship or make an unrestricted gift, you help keep a college education within reach for students in our community. Choose the option that works best for you.
Behind the Scholarships
Your gift does more than you think
Each year RCSF helps hundreds of students connect with more than 400 scholarships from generous donors, community organizations, businesses, and churches. Making that possible takes real resources — specialized application and donor-review software, accounting and payroll, a part-time coordinator who works directly with schools, students, and donors, and professional management of endowed funds. Your support funds scholarships and keeps the foundation strong, compliant, and effective for years to come.
The Redlands Community Scholarship Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit governed by volunteer community members. Federal Tax ID Number: 23-7018411.

🏦RMD / Qualified Charitable Distribution
Using your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) is a smart, meaningful way to support local students while potentially reducing your tax burden. If you’re 70½ or older with a traditional IRA, you can direct all or part of your RMD to RCSF as a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD).
Why give through your RMD?
- Avoid income taxes on the amount you donate.
- If you’re 73 or older, satisfy all or part of your RMD for the year.
- Support Redlands Unified students pursuing college or career training.
- Give simply and directly — no itemizing required.
